Penguin cluster

Number of nodes = 24
Number of CPUs = 48
(Each node is a two-way SMP with each CPU two-way hyperthreaded, therefore FOUR virtual CPUs)

CPU : Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.06GHz
Memory : 1GB RAM , Cache size = 512 KB (L2 cache)
OS : Linux , 2.6.20-1.2316.fc5smp
Each node has a local hard disk space of 15 GB
One of the machines (penguin-s) is connected to a nStor Fibre Channel array that consists
of 12 seagate hard drives, with total space of 350GB

Emperor cluster

Number of nodes = 20
Number of CPUs = 40
(Each node is a two-way SMP with each CPU two-way hyperthreaded, therefore
FOUR virtual CPUs)
CPU : Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.80GHz
Memory : 1.5 GB RAM , Cache size = 512 KB (L2 cache)
OS : Linux , 2.6.20-1.2316.fc5smp
Each node has a local hard disk space of 15 GB

Cheshire cluster

Number of nodes = 36
Number of CPUs = 72
(Each node is a two-way SMP with each CPU two-way hyperthreaded, therefore
FOUR virtual CPUs)
CPU : Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.40GHz
Memory : 2 GB RAM , Cache size = 2 MB (L2 cache)
OS : Linux , 2.6.16-1.2096_FC4smp
Each node has a local hard disk space of 7 GB
Eight of the cheshire machines are connected to a fibre channel SAN
